Your bake journal is yours.

This policy describes the Loafable mobile app, website and Bake Companion. It reflects the current beta product.

What stays on your device

Starter profiles, feeding logs, recipes, bake sessions, observations, journal entries and imported photos are stored locally by default. Removing the app may remove this local data unless you exported it first.

When you use Bake Companion

Only conversation context and photos you choose to submit are sent to Loafable’s API. Before upload, the app creates a processed copy and removes embedded camera and location metadata. Requests are processed by Cloudflare and OpenAI to generate the response.

Loafable does not use bake photos or conversations to advertise to you. Temporary upload copies are deleted after processing or a short operational window. Local conversation history remains on your device until you delete it.

Website and support

When you email us, we receive your email address, message and attachments so we can respond. Infrastructure may keep ordinary security logs such as IP address, request time, response status and abuse signals for a limited period.

Your choices

Do not submit a photo or message unless you want it processed in the cloud.
Delete Companion history and local records inside the app.
Contact us about information connected to a support request.

Children

Loafable is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Bake Companion can be wrong and cannot determine whether food is safe from a photo. Do not taste raw flour, starter or dough. When contamination is possible, discard it.
